Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary - Located directly across the street, the sanctuary attracts
birders from all over the world, and is one of the hottest birding spots on the Gulf Coast. The new 26'
Observation Tower gives a "birds eye" view of the island.
Xeriscape Park - The newly relocated park now encompasses a block and a half of trails, ponds, newly
planted live oaks and park benches. Blinds for viewing and photography of wildlife are also being added.
Quintana Beach County Park - 2 blocks away, camping with full hook-ups available, and day use
activities are at their finest. The pedestrian beach offers cabana's, outside showers, restroom's, BBQ grills

County Park Fishing Pier - Just a short walk away, for some of the best fishing on the island!
Jetty's and Shipping Canal - If you want to relax and watch a ship enter port, fish or walk to the end of
the jetty's, this is the place to be.
Mouth of the Brazos River - Located just a few miles to the south, the mouth is a favorite fishing spot.
Worth the Drive
Sea Center Texas - Located in Lake Jackson, the aquarium is a fun and educational way the spend an
